Bankruptcy Bill Bad News

There is a bankruptcy bill in the Senate right now that will make it harder for average people to declare bankruptcy. They make no exceptions for victims of identity theft, military personnel, or medical-related debts. It keeps loopholes open for the wealthy, and does nothing about predatory lending practices.

Write your senators and urge them to vote "NO" on this bill. It is a giveaway to credit card companies, who already are have too much power. Remember "universal default?"

UPDATE: The Rude Pundit has a post about this bill in his own inimitable style.
