Mandatory Miscarriage Reporting Proposed in Virginia

Delegate John Cosgrove - R has proposed a bill, HB177, which would make it mandatory for a woman to report a miscarriage to the cops within 12 hours. Democracy for Virginia has all the details. Of course, I'm sure our sensitive law enforcement personnel wouldn't go treating anyone like a criminal during the reporting process would they?

"Why are you crying ma'am? You feel guilty over something? DID YOU KILL YOUR BABY, SLUT?!? TELL US! WHY DID YOU KILL YOUR BABY?!?"

So, I guess they'll be providing free extensive prenatal care to all pregnant women in Viginia, then? Right? No?
